Privacy Policy
Last updated: [Effective date]
This policy explains what information IntexiaU Corp (“IntexiaU,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use IntexiaU Academy at academy.intexiau.com and the IntexiaU Institute website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we cannot see them.
- Learning records: the programs you enroll in, lessons you complete, the written reflections you submit, your final-assessment answers and scores, and certificates issued to you.
- Payment information: when paid enrollment is offered, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as your email and the amount; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical information: basic data your browser sends, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We store a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and let you take courses.
- To record your progress, score assessments and issue certificates and badges.
- To operate public certificate verification (see below).
- To process payments when paid enrollment is offered.
- To respond to your messages, send service emails (such as sign-up confirmation and password resets), and improve our programs.
- To comply with law and protect the security of our services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your reflections or assessment answers to train AI models.
Public certificate verification
When you earn a certificate, anyone with its verification code or link can see your name as it appears on the certificate, the credential, the program and the issue date. Nothing else from your account is shown. You control who receives your link.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting) and, when payments are enabled, Stripe (payment processing). They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
We keep account and learning records while your account is active so you can return to your programs and so certificates remain verifiable. You may ask us to delete your account; we will delete or de-identify your information unless we must keep it for legal, accounting or security reasons. Deleting your account will make your certificates unverifiable.
Your choices and rights
- Update the name on your certificates at any time from My learning.
- Request a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion by emailing andreabrvenik@intexiau.com.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. We will respond to verified requests as the law requires.
Learners under 18
Our programs are intended for adults and for learners 16 and older. Learners under 18 must have a parent's or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16; if you believe a child under 16 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and database security rules designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
