Terms of Use

Last updated: [Effective date]

These terms govern your use of IntexiaU Academy (academy.intexiau.com) and related IntexiaU Institute websites, operated by IntexiaU Corp, a Florida corporation (“IntexiaU,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the programs, you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and use the account yourself. You must be at least 16 years old; if you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has given permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Programs and content

Course materials, including lessons, exercises, prompts and assessments, are owned by IntexiaU or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, republish or share course materials or assessment questions, or use them to build a competing product, without our written permission. Your reflections and work remain yours; you give us permission to store and process them to provide the service.

3. Educational purpose; no professional advice

Programs are educational. Nothing in them is legal, financial, tax, medical, investment or other professional advice, and using them does not create an attorney–client or other professional relationship. Consult a qualified professional about your specific situation. AI tools discussed in the programs can produce inaccurate output; you are responsible for verifying information and for how you use AI tools, including complying with your employer's, school's and AI providers' rules.

4. Certificates and badges

Certificates and digital badges are awarded by IntexiaU Corp for completing a program's requirements, including its final assessment. They reflect completion of our Economic Authorship curriculum and are not academic degrees, academic credit, licenses, or accredited credentials. You must complete the work yourself; we may revoke a credential obtained through misrepresentation, sharing of assessment answers, or other misconduct.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other users' data, interfere with the site, scrape content, automate completion of lessons or assessments, or submit unlawful or harmful material. Do not submit others' confidential or personal information in reflections.

6. Fees, payments and refunds

Programs are currently offered free of charge during our launch period. When paid enrollment is offered, prices will be shown before purchase and payments will be processed by Stripe. Refund policy: [to be set by IntexiaU before paid enrollment begins].

7. Changes and availability

We may update programs, content, features and these terms. If we make material changes to these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date above. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IntexiaU will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the program in question in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute will be the state or federal courts located in [County], Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
